Aaron Summers has turned in an excellent display in Saturday's South Australian Championship, taking third place.

Troy Batchelor retained his title from hard-pressing Rory Schlein in the Final, with Aaron third ahead of the promising Justin Sedgmen.

It was a similar story in the qualifying races though Rory Schlein topped the scorers with 15, from Batchelor (14).

Aaron scored an excellent 13, beating along the way Tom Hedley and Robert Ksiezak. This took him straight to the final.

Missing from the meeting were Cameron Woodward (injured), plus Ben and Kurt Shields (withdrawn).

This sets Aaron up well for his Aussie Under-21 event next Saturday.
