It has been well known for some considerable time that Scotwaste would continue as Monarchs team sponsor in 2013. It’s a position they have held since 2006 and they are, by far, the longest running team sponsors that the Monarchs have had.

The man in charge at Scotwaste, Stewart Melrose, was delighted to join everyone at the Press Launch at Bathgate on Friday and, as has become almost traditional, Stewart was delighted to present the racejackets to the Scotwaste Monarchs.

The always jovial Stewart confirmed his delight at the continuing sponsorship saying, “I’m always pleased that we as a local firm support the Monarchs as a local team. I can almost see the track from my office window so you can’t get much more local than that.”

Club Chairman Alex Harkess continued, “We are a big family here at the Monarchs. The team, the management, the supporters and sponsors and Scotwaste are very much part of the family. Stewart and his father, also Stewart, have always been a pleasure to deal with and I look forward to welcoming to our stadium on many occasions this year.”

Scotwaste have built their business on supplying skips of all sizes to businesses and individuals, waste management and materials recycling but have, more recently, also moved into the uplift of trade, office and commercial waste. Their red and yellow wheelie bins are appearing more and more throughout east central Scotland. Perhaps you would like one also. Call 01506 656560.
