The good news for the Scotwaste Monarchs this week is that Jozsef Tabaka has declared himself fit and will be back in the team for the match against Leicester at Armadale on Friday.

Jozsef took a number of heavy tumbles in our home knock out cup tie against Newcastle and followed that up the next day with a big pile up with Daniel Nermark in a World Grand Prix qualifier at his home town track at Debrecen. He initially reported that he had broken his leg and that was, subsequently changed to a broken foot. Even that diagnosis appears to have been exaggerated given the speed of his recovery.

Jozsef will resume his regular place in the team at number four and will be flying into to Edinburgh with his beach attire ready for the beach party on our desert island on Friday.

Latest news on Mitchell Davey suggests that, although he is nearing fitness, it will be a week on Friday before he takes to the track again. He hopes to have the plaster removed from his broken wrist towards the end of next week and then plans to have a try out at Armadale before he decides if he is fit to return against Glasgow at Ashfield on 7th July.
