Scotwaste Monarchs captain, Derek Sneddon, has called on all supporters to get behind the team and be the eighth team member in the 1st leg of the Premier League Championship Final at Armadale on Friday evening.

Said Derek, "It really does make a difference to us all to hear the cheers of encouragement before the start of a race and after each race. I hope that everyone in the stadium will really be cheering their heads off and I'm sure the boys will respond."

Club Chairman, Alex Harkess has been delighted to see a change in the weather forecast for Friday. He commented, "Earlier in the week no one would have given us a chance of staging this meeting on Friday. Now all the weather forecasts are predicting much less rain with a strong possibility that it will be gone by lunchtime and we'll enjoy a dry, maybe even sunny, afternoon and it will stay that way into the evening. After a really nice day on Thursday I think we should be able to get the track in excellent condition for this vital match."

Obviously a big crowd is expected on Friday and Scotwaste Monarchs management have promised to get everyone into the stadium as quickly as possible. However, supporters wishing to be sure of avoiding queues are advised to purchased advance tickets online, before midnight on Thursday to gain a discount also, as entry at the advance ticket gate is much quicker.

Normal admission prices have been maintained for the Final and a special Championship Souvenir Magazine has been produced priced £3.

Although neither side will be able to celebrate Championship success on Friday the Scotwaste Monarchs management invite all supporters to join them in the bar after the meeting to enjoy a celebratory glass of champagne to toast the excellent season the team have enjoyed so far.

After the traditional end of season speeches we will have a fireworks display to end the season in style.
