Our highly popular Children's Evening takes place at Armadale Stadium on Friday night and Ed the Monarch will be there to welcome all the children.

Each year we stage an event at the track in support of the Armadale Children's Gala Day which this year takes place on Saturday 20th June. Thanks to assistance provided by our sponsors, Border Roofing, we will be taking part in the parade.

Friday night at Armadale is all about children and we hope to attract many from the town of Armadale. Each child will receive a specially printed poster as they enter the stadium and Ed the Monarch will be there to greet them and distribute sweets as usual. We'll have a bouncy castle and a face painter.

The Border Roofing Monarchs start the defence of their league title with the visit of Scunthorpe Scorpions. Craig Cook warmed up for the match guesting for Sheffield on Thursday evening. He top scored for the Tigers with 13 points in their 50 to 43 win over Ipswich.

Erik Riss and Justin Sedgmen both miss Friday's meeting at Armadale. Sedgy is already in Croatia for his Grand Prix qualifier on Saturday. Erik is considering undergoing some laser treatment to speed his recovery although that has to take place in the UK as such a treatment is not available in Germany.
