Redcar Bears will arrive at Armadale on Friday night with a full team after receiving good news today.

The Bears were initially scheduled to be without Jonas B Andersen with conflicting stories about the reason for his absence. Redcar's management have confirmed that he has recovered from injury to take his place. However, he was programmed to race for Danish Superleague team Region Varde in their match with Slangerup on Friday evening. That match was called off on Wednesday evening with a very wet Outrup track not ready for racing.

The Border Roofing Monarchs are a man down though. In our initial agreement with Belle Vue, Dan Bewley is on loan to us from the Aces, it was agreed than Dan would appear for their National League side in their opening fixture against Stoke on Friday evening. It is hoped that future fixture clashes will be kept to a minimum.

The Border Roofing Monarchs have asked Cradley's Stockton based rider, Ben Basford to stand in. Said co-promoter John Campbell, "It seemed the perfect opportunity to take a look at a rider who has made steady progress since breaking into the National League last season. He's not attached to a Premier League team so who knows what might happen in the future."

The weather forecast has improved considerably for Friday over the last twenty four hours and after early morning snow it seems we are in for a dry day with sunshine breaking through in the afternoon.
