It's been a busy time for our riders this weekend as three of them rode in Germany bidding to secure a place in the next round of their respective Championships.

Josh Pickering was the first man in action when he took part in the semi final of the World Under 21 Team Championship at Pocking on Saturday. He scored 7 as the Australians easily qualified for the Final.

They will be joined by Denmark, the winner of the abandoned other semi final, hosts, Poland, and highest runner up Great Britain for the final at Rybnik on 2nd September.

On Monday Erik Riss and Ricky Wells were in action in the Grand Prix qualifier at Abensberg. Ricky finished well down the field with 4 points but Erik's 9 points took him into a run off for the final qualifying place with Matej Kus and Martin Smolinski. Erik, unfortunately, fell in the run off and Kus gained the final qualifying position.

It's a busy time for Sam Masters who got an unexpected day off on Monday when Wolverhampton's match was rained off early in the day. He'll be busy for the rest of the week and we are all looking forward to the long trip to Ipswich on Thursday followed by what looks like a very difficult home match against Redcar at Armadale on Friday night.
