Derek Sneddon will be back in action for the Scotwaste Monarchs for their final home League Cup qualifier against Glasgow on Friday night.

Said Derek on Thursday night, "I've had the week off work and it's probably the best thing I could have done. I feel that my back has really improved and I'm really keen to get back into action on Friday." So the Scotwaste Monarchs will be at full strength on Friday evening.

Good Friday is a busy speedway day in Britain with no less than fourteen matches and some teams and many riders contesting two matches in the one day. Of course two of our own riders are in that position.

First of all Stevie Worrall is racing just about as far away as you can get from Armadale when he lines up for Swindon at Poole on Friday morning. That match starts at 11.00am and Stevie is hopeful that he will be on his way a couple of hours later for the trip up to Heathrow. His flight is booked for late afternoon and he expects to be at Armadale at the usual time. His mechanic and equipment will have made the usual trip north and should be in the stadium awaiting his arrival.

Craig Cook leads the Belle Vue Aces into action at Midday and he expects to be on the road just after two o'clock and anticipates rolling into the stadium by six. Craig's done two meetings in a day before so he knows what to expect.

If advance ticket sales are anything to go by then we can expect another big crowd on Friday evening and the children arriving early will receive an Easter Egg. Late arriving children may not though, so don't be late!
