Sheffield Tigers arrive at Armadale this evening determined to end the Scotwaste Monarchs run of consecutive victories at the start of this season.

The weather hasn't been bad at Armadale today. There has been some mist hanging over the stadium but nothing to cause concern about track conditions. Trackman Alan Bridgett is also aware that some rain could arrive during the late afternoon and he is taking the necessary steps to combat this threat with the hope that any rain will clear by start time.

The Tigers include a number of riders, Stead, Lanham, Roynon, Compton and Bates, who have done well in the past at Armadale although not on a consistent basis.

Craig Cook is fresh from qualifying for the British Championship final and he, like the rest of the team, are determined to open the league campaign with a big win.
