The countdown to this weekend's vital matches between the Scotwaste Monarchs and Somerset continues with both teams preparing for their biggest contests of the season.

Other than Brady Kurtz, who has been confirmed as taking no part in these matches, the Cases rebels have no injury worries. Olly Allen was riding in Poland on Thursday for Krakow in their match with Ostrovia and crashed in heat 5 and took no further part in the meeting. Reports suggest that he has no long term damage.

On the Monarchs side, Derek Sneddon reports slow but daily improvement to his hip injury sustained at Ipswich on Thursday and remains confident that he will be fit to race on Friday at Somerset.

Still no celebratory cards required for Stevie Worrall who remains at home with partner Annabelle, awaiting the big day.

Advance tickets are already selling well for Saturday night's match at Armadale. With a very big crowd expected on Saturday the stadium gates will be open ninety minutes before start time at 5.30pm.
