"The search for a team sponsors to back the Monarchs during the 2015 season continues.

Updating the position co-promoter John Campbell said, "Of course it was never going to be easy, starting from scratch, to find a new backer. However, almost immediately after our announcement last week, two parties came forward to make an enquiry. One went no further than that but the other put an offer on the table only to withdraw it again when we asked for a meeting to discuss the possibilities further."

At the moment we sit with no enquiry on the table. Suggestions that we have someone waiting in the wings ready to step in are completely untrue. We are not in discussions with anyone."
