The Border Roofing Monarchs had a winning start to the defence of their trophies at Armadale on Friday night defeating Glasgow by 51 to 42 on the night and by three on aggregate to win the Spring Trophy.

Sam Masters top scored with a fifteen point maximum and Aaron Summers top scored for the Tigers with 13 including a tactical win.
