The Border Roofing Monarchs are on the road on Saturday for the short hop to Berwick and our first away League Cup match.

After a relatively incident free meeting at Armadale on Friday evening the only Border Roofing Monarch with any kind of concern is Rob Branford. He took a fairly hefty tumble in heat 12 and was left with some damage to his bike to straighten out. Other than that the team are keenly looking forward to the challenge of Shielfield Park.

Berwick welcome back Ben Barker to their team and injury worries about Thomas Jorgensen have also cleared. However, one man who will be missing is Slovenian, Matic Voldrih. He was already due to miss the meeting as there is a round of the Slovenian Championship today. However, in the first round of that Championship on Monday he broke his leg. Whilst they search for a replacement The Bandits will use rider replacement giving extra rides to Kevin Doolan, Alex Edberg and Luke Crang.

The meeting gets underway at 7.00pm and with Glasgow turning round a huge deficit to win at Berwick last week, the Border Roofing Monarchs are also hoping for victory tonight.
