Border Roofing Monarchs were in action at Armadale on Friday evening against Berwick and ran out easy winners by to 58 to 32. Top man for the Border Roofing Monarchs was Justin Sedgmen with a paid 15 point maximum ably supported by Sam Masters with a full 12 point maximum.

The Border Roofing Monarchs were very dominant winning all but one of the fifteen races but during the early part of the meeting there was some interesting racing with plenty of overtaking.

Race of the night was heat 7. Berwick sent out Kevin Doolan on a tactical ride. Sam Masters made the start with Thomas Jorgensen in second, Doolan in third with Max Clegg on his tail. Max kept close to Doolan and never gave the Berwick pair a chance to switch places. In the run to the line Jorgensen slowed to let Doolan through but in doing so impeded his partner and Max roared through to take second.

Craig Cook was in dominant form again paid up his paid wins in his first two races from the back. Unfortunately he had a costly blow up of an engine at the start of heat 13.

For the disappointing Bandits Kevin Doolan was the only race winner and the only visitor to create any kind of challenge. Ben Barker was particularly disappointing with just six points from five rides.
