The Border Roofing Monarchs travel through to Ashfield this afternoon for an important League Cup tie. Three o'clock is the start time for what looks like being a fine afternoon.

Both teams are at full strength for the match between the two teams sitting on ten points each at the top of the Border League Cup section. It is conceivable that both teams could make it through to the semi finals although Workington could still have a say in the matter also.

Glasgow were at Workington on Saturday night and after being ahead for a time in the match they went into the last heat 10 points down. However, a 5-1 from Richard Lawson and Nick Morris salvaged an important League Cup point for them. That could prove vital in due course.

Rob Branford made the long trip to Rye House on Saturday night and scored 2 and a bonus for the Rockets in their heavy defeat to Sheffield.
