COOKIE CALLED UP FOR PAIRS

Craig Cook has been called up to join Tai Woffinden in the Great Britain pair to race in the final round of the Speedway Best Pairs at Esbjerg in Denmark on 9th May.

Britain have not contested this competition at all but have been invited to participate in the final round after the withdrawal of America. America have been represented by Greg Hancock and Gino Manzares in the first two rounds but Manzares and the two other Americans racing in Europe, Ryan Fisher and Ricky Wells are unavailable due to Premier league meetings and that has forced the Yanks out.

For Craig it will be an opportunity to perform on the world stage against the best from Australia, Denmark, Poland, Russia, Sweden and wild card Germany.
