From every angle it seems that Friday night's league clash between the Border Roofing Monarchs and the Allied Tigers is boiling up nicely. Advance ticket sales are ahead of any match so far this season and that suggests a red hot atmosphere and the temperature is going to be at its highest level of the season so far.

Although it has been a quiet week for most of the team, Max Clegg just missed out on a maximum riding for Cradley on Wednesday night. Sam Masters, after promising himself a quiet week after a very busy schedule actually rode in Denmark on Wednesday evening for Region Varde in their away match at Fjelsted. It was a big win for Fjelsted with Sam scoring 10 + 2 from his seven rides.

On Thursday night Craig Cook made the long trip to Ipswich to guest for the Witches in their match against Newcastle. It wasn't a good night for Craig scoring 6 + 1 from 3 after falling in his first race. Stevie Worrall, Glasgow's guest at number 1 on Friday did a bit better with 9 from 5 as the Diamonds scored a surprise away win.

With a busy night expected at the admission gates on Friday we'd ask all supporters to get there as early as possible to prevent queues at the gates.
