Rob Branford will miss Sunday's return clash with Glasgow at Ashfield after crashing out of Friday's meeting at Armadale.

Rob suffered a shoulder injury in his heat 8 crash and immediately informed Rye House that he wouldn't be fit for today's National League match (it's been rained off anyway) but left it until Saturday to decide if he would be fit to ride on Sunday.

Unfortunately he was worse rather than better on Saturday and was unable to lift his right arm away from his side. He was visiting hospital on Saturday afternoon for x-rays and we await the result from him. However, Rob did believe that nothing was broken. Let's hope so.

The Border Roofing Monarchs will use rider replacement to cover for him on Sunday giving extra rides to Justin Sedgmen and the reserves as we seek revenge for Friday's defeat.
