READY FOR BLAST OFF

Edward Kennett, one of the most impressive visitors to Armadale, leads his Rockets in search of league points this evening.

We've had one or two showers at Armadale but we do expect these to clear away by the late afternoon. A win against the Rockets tonight will take us five points clear at the top of the Premier League as all other matches today have been postponed due to heavy rain in the south of England.

Sam Masters visited the hospital this morning and he received relatively good news. The wiring round his thumb will be removed in a fortnight's time and he can consider making a coemback after that. At least now we have a good idea of the timescale involved in his injury recovery.

We have now confirmed the date of the first leg of the League Cup semi final at Armadale. That will take place on Friday 14th August with the second leg at Ipswich on Thursday 3rd September. Glasgow await the winners in the Final.

Supporters who attended last week's abandoned match against Redcar are reminded to bring their readmission ticket from the gain to gain reduced price admission tonight.
