The will he won't he saga of Robert Lambert's participation in our match at Armadale on Friday evening has now been resolved and the exciting young Englishman will be in the Panthers line up on Friday.

Peterborough had originally confirmed at the beginning of the week that Lambert would be missing as he was under suspension and although that ban was lifted in midweek it was only on Thursday evening that the Panthers confirmed that Robert would be racing.

Following on from that the Panthers indicated also that Kenneth Hansen had withdrawn due to fatigue and in a reshuffle to their line up Ricky Wells would now guest at number 2 and rider replacement would be used to cover for Emil Grondal giving the chance of an extra ride to everyone but Lambert.

What already looked like a potent visiting team will now have an even better look to it and it certainly looks like the Border Roofing Monarchs will be severely tested at Armadale for the first time in many weeks. The Panthers have been very shrewd with guest selection throughout the season and it is no different for their visit north on this occasion.

On Thursday evening we were knocked off the top spot in the Premier League when Glasgow won, convincingly, to pick up all four league points to take them to the top of the league a position the Border Roofing Monarchs can't overhaul on Friday even if they pick up a win.

Rob Branford rode in that meeting at Redcar for the home team but picked up just two points from his six rides.
