The Border Roofing Monarchs have moved the short distance up the road from Rye House to Peterborough ahead of this evening’s match at the East of England Showground.

The Monarchs will seek to avenge the defeat suffered at the hands of the Panthers on Friday. As the season progresses towards the Play Offs, any league points that can be gained may prove crucial to the team’s chances of a top two finish.

Coming off the back of yesterday’s excellent performance at Rye House, the Monarchs are further bolstered by the return of Erik Riss to the side.

Erik scored a hard-earned 7 points in last night’s European Under 21 Team Cup semi final as the German team just missed out on a qualifying spot. They finished third behind runaway winners Sweden and runners up Denmark.

The Panthers line up for today’s match without the injured Ulrich Ostergaard and Simon Lambert, with rider replacement covering Ostergaard’s absence and Luke Bowen coming in for Lambert.

The weather is set fair with the action getting underway at 5pm.
