The Border Roofing Monarchs head south tonight for their final away league match of the season at Workington.

After a rainy morning in Cumbria it has been dry all afternoon and that should allow for our away league meetings to be completed. We certainly couldn't have tougher opposition to finish. The Comets are the only team in the league to have won all their home meetings and will be keen to complete their schedule with a 100% record.

The Border Roofing Monarchs will be understrength as Erik Riss is in Germany racing in the third World Long Track Grand Prix. Max Clegg is also away this time in action at Berwick in the British Under 19 Championship. Rider replacement covers for Erik with extra rides to Justin Sedgmen and the reserves and Buxton's Ryan Blacklock comes in to replace Max.

Erik rides in the World Long Track at Vechta in Germany. With the withdrawal from the Championship of leader Joonas Kylmakorpi through injury Erik has the chance of taking the lead in the Championship with a good meeting tonight but he is in a group of riders that all have roughly the same score at the moment.

Over at Berwick Max Clegg will start as one of favourites but will face tough opposition from Josh Bates, Ellis Perks and local track expert, Liam Carr. Armadale second half regular, Lewis Millar, has now been called up to take his place in the field.
