The Border Roofing Monarchs move onto Knock Out Cup action this evening at Newcastle looking to defend a 22 point lead and move into the Cup Final against Somerset.

Somerset completed a double over Rye House last night at Hoddesdon to confirm their place in the Cup Final and the Border Roofing Monarchs are hoping to join them.

We will be at full strength for the match. Erik Riss has flown in from Bremen after taking the lead in the World Long Track Championship with one round to go. Newcastle will be a little bit smaller than the circuit at Vechta.

Max Clegg will also be back after finishing 2nd in the British Under 19 Championship at Berwick on Saturday night.

The Diamonds are not to be taken lightly. They have won their last two home matches by more than 22 points and have hit some good form on their home track recently.

The meeting gets underway at 6.30pm.
