The full Border Roofing Monarchs team take a step back on Friday to allow a Monarchs Select side to race Belle Vue Colts in an Intermediate Challenge.

Prices for this meeting have been substantially reduce with adults admitted for £12, Seniors and Students £9, Children 12 to 16 £4 and Children under 12 free. Online advance advance tickets are on sale now for £1 less for all categories.

Season tickets are not valid for this meeting but special prices will apply to all season ticket holders at their normal admission gate.

We also have a bargain in VIP Hospitality with tickets being pried at £15, basically the price of admission and a programme. We wish to give us many as possible the opportunity to see what it's like to view from hospitality. Tickets here are limited so please book early.

As for the match itself, the Border Roofing Monarchs select side will feature Max Clegg and Jye Etheridge. Both have been struggling a little lately although Max has shown clear signs over the weekend of a return to form. Mitchell Davey, who should be available for Premier league action in June will also be in the team.

Making a welcome return to the Monarchs colours will be William Lawson. He last rode for the Monarchs on 31st October 2010 and seemed to be lost to the sport. However, in the last couple of years, he has shown renewed interest and is keen to show what he can do.

The remainder of the team will be made up of local lads who have all enjoyed limited National League experience, Dale Lamb, Lewis Millar and Kev Whelan.

The Colts have still to confirm their line up but will include Dan Bewley with a powerful heat leader trio of Joe Jacobs, Lee Payne and Matt Williamson.
