Kye joins the field

The Stellar Monarchs will have two representatives in the Championship Individual meeting tomorrow at Redcar, as Aussie Kye Thomson joins Craig Cook in the field chasing the title won by Monarchs' Sam Masters last season.

It's a boost for the Aussie who has had a difficult season, lacking his preferred engine for a long part of the year and then, after getting it back, scoring a brilliant 15 point maximum against Berwick, only to fall foul of some very unpleasant illness which caused him to miss matches.

He reported on Friday that he is considerably fitter though not quite 100%, but certainly ready for Redcar on Sunday. He has a booking at King's Lynn on Monday before Monarchs' important visit to Plymouth on Tuesday. Join the Monarchs and see the world!

Craig Cook of course is a former Champion of the British tier 2 (formerly Premier League) and will be hoping to find his best form for the event. Josh Pickering was also a qualifier but has been called away to ride in Poland.
