These voluntary positions offer the opportunity to enjoy another side of speedway, often getting closer to the riders, and seeing what goes on behind the scenes.

You will join an enthusiastic and talented team who produce every aspect of the Friday evening action at Armadale, as well as working away behind the scenes during the week to keep the cogs turning. A vital squad that is much valued by the Club.

Live Stream Production Assistant

Join our EMTV crew where you'll be in charge of what's being broadcast around the world on our live stream.

The Live Stream Production Assistant is responsible for supporting the live stream broadcast of each match. They will work as part of the EMTV team to control camera angles, manage computer graphics, and ensure a smooth and seamless broadcast.

Ideal for anyone with a background in computing with a good knowledge of speedway.

Stadium/Track Maintenance Assistant

Join the stadium team each Wednesday from 8am to 1pm and Fridays from 8am onwards to keep Armadale Stadium spick, span and ready for that week's action! General maintenance tasks are carried each week around the track and stadium so being good with your hands will be useful.

Graphic Designer

Monarchs are seeking an budding graphic designer to add some pizazz to our digital and print outputs. Experience using graphic design software is essential.

DJ

Spin those decks and get Armadale Stadium jumping throughout every match. This is a great opportunity for any aspiring DJ to hone their craft in front of a live audience.

First Aid Team Member

Become a member of the First Aid team either weekly or on an occasional basis to cover holidays and absence. Witness the action from the centre green and be first on the scene if the unfortunate happens on track. A First Aid at Work certificate is required.

Video Editor

Join the production of the EMTV Preview Show and Friday Focus and help edit the weekly shows. A working knowledge of video editing software or a willingness to learn on the job is essential to this role.

Creative Video Editor

In addition to the weekly shows, we're looking to produce bold new content focussed on exposing the club to a new audience online.

Videographer

We're looking for a steady hand behind the camera to work alongside the creative video editor and social media content creator where required.

Social Media Content Creator

We're taking a renewed focus on spontaneous photo and video posts. Have a specific interest in stylistic Instagram posts or viral TikTok videos? This could be the role for you!

Track Electrician

A weekly role to provide support on race nights and minor assistance on an occasional basis. Full electrician training required.

Commercial Assistant

Seek and secure new commercial partnerships and sponsorships for the Monarchs in this exciting and important role. Performance related payment is available for this role and no experience is necessary.

Journalist/Content Creator

Are you a budding journalist or aspiring sports reporter? Join Monarchs PR Team and write about your favourite speedway team! No experience required but a strong grasp of written English essential.

Stand-in Live Updater

An occasional role operating Monarchs Official Website Live Updates to cover holidays and absences. Competent computer skills required.

Stand-in First Aid Team Member

An occasional role as a member of the First Aid team to cover holidays and absence. Witness the action from the centre green and be first on the scene if the unfortunate happens on track. A First Aid at Work certificate is required.
