Admission - Terms and Conditions

  1. These terms and conditions of sale govern the sale of match tickets by Edinburgh Monarchs Speedway (EMS).
  2. A contract exists between you and EMS as soon as your order is received. EMS is entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of inaccuracies in the application or unavailability.
  3. Please check your ticket on receipt of your confirmation email as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
  4. Unlawful resale or attempted unlawful resale of a ticket is grounds for seizure or cancellation of that ticket without refund or other compensation.
  5. Motorsports are dangerous and the ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior to, during, or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, EMS and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employees are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.

  7. By purchasing any tickets you have accepted these terms and conditions and are subject to the Ground Regulations of EMS, available on request.
  8. By completing any booking or purchase through the EMS website, you accept that you will be added to our mailing list to receive periodical alerts about products or services. You may request to be removed from this list ay any time.
  9. EMS reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice.

Tickets may only be purchased by those who can present their tickets on a mobile device or download and print their ticket once the purchase is complete. There will be no alternative method offered to obtain the ticket. Specifically it will not be possible to uplift tickets at the venue on the event date.

The ticket must be presented at the admission gate on the day of the event to obtain admission. It will be valid on that date only and for no future event unless covered by later conditions within this document.

Tickets may be returned to EMS, with an explanation for the return in writing, up to 3 weeks prior to the event date and a full refund of the face value of the ticket(s) purchased will be issued to the credit or debit card used in the original transaction. A £2 administration charge will be deducted from the total refund prior to issue.

In no circumstances will any booking fees be refunded.

In the event of an abandonment prior to the completion of heat 10, your Admission Ticket will be valid for admission to any equivalent fixture held at Armadale Stadium during the same season, subject to a surcharge for each completed race of the abandoned fixture.

The surcharge will be £1 per completed race for Adults and 80p per completed race for Seniors and Students. All Children will be readmitted at no additional charge.

For example, an adult who attends a fixture which is abandoned after 4 heats will be able to attend another equivalent fixture subject to a £4 surcharge.

The surcharge can be paid online or at the admission gate when re-entering the staidum.

Specifically this will not apply to BSPL shared events, testimonial events, or fixtures with an alternative pricing structure.

Your original admission ticket will be valid, subject to the aforementioned surcharge, for your chosen valid fixture.

Those unable to attend any remaining equivalent fixture in the current season can apply by email to the Club's Speedway Office for a refund, subject to the deduction of any surcharges due.

Refund requests must be made within 14 days of the abandoned fixture.

In the event of an abandonment after the completion of heat 10, the result will be declared and your Admission Ticket will not be valid for any future fixture held at Armadale Stadium.

In the event of a postponement before the completion of any heats, your Admission Ticket will be valid for admission to any remaining equivalent fixture scheduled to take place in the current season.

Those unable to attend any remaining equivalent fixture in the current season can apply by email to the Club's Speedway Office for a full refund.

Refund requests must be made within 14 days of the postponed fixture.
