Monarchs Academy captain Connor Coles was involved in a crash at Buxton Speedway on Sunday afternoon and was subsequently airlifted to a hospital in Stoke.

Connor remains in hospital, currently in an induced coma, though is in a stable condition.

Monarchs are in regular contact with Connor's family and will bring you more news as soon as it is known. For the moment all at the club send our very best wishes to Connor and his family.
