Another Friday night at the Scotwaste Arena, another chance for silverware as the young and highly talented Ipswich Witches side heads north for the second leg of the Premier League's Knockout Cup Final.

Monarchs will hope to be at full strength after enjoying one of their best performances of the season at Ipswich last night to take yet another incredible away win and a sixteen point lead to defend, something not even the most fervent Monarchs fan could have predicted.

Craig Cook was at his magnificent best at Foxhall Road, breaking the track record once more on his way to a maximum. His opposite number is the 24-year-old Australian rider, Rohan Tungate in his third and best season with the Witches, having also made appearances for Poole last year.

Justin Sedgmen is another rider having easily his best season, proving to be an ideal partner for the high flying Craig Cook. Across the pits from him at No.2 for the Witches is another young Australian rider with a host of youth titles behind him, now in his third season with the team

Max Fricke is only in his second season of senior speedway but has shown he has the talent to go much further in the sport. His opposite number, Morten Risager from Denmark has close to ten years more experience, including a number of Elite League clubs, so this is a great match-up.

Monarchs fans will be hoping one of the busiest riders in British speedway, Stevie Worrall who sat out the first leg, is able to take his regular spot at No.4 where he will face Gino Manzares, a talented young Californian in only his second UK season with the Witches

Sam Masters has steadily got better and better as the season has progressed to the point where he is forming the strongest top pairing for Monarchs since Schott and Carr. He will have to look twice as his opposing No.5 is Stevie's twin brother Richie Worrall who is one of the UK's hottest young talents.

Aaron Fox has found the sudden plunge into Premier League speedway to be tough but he has turned in some great Armadale performances. He lines up opposite one of the most experienced reserves in the entire league, Ritchie Hawkins who has ridden for in impressive list of clubs.

Derek Sneddon has certainly been in the wars late in the season but will hope to be fit enough to take his place opposite the Ipswich No.7, Adam Ellis whose early motorcycle experience was gained in French grasstracking before joining Isle of Wight in 2012 and the Witches a year later.

Having inflicted a devastating defeat in the first leg, just as they did with Newcastle last Friday, Monarchs will be odds-on favourites to take their second trophy in a week. But rest assured the Witches will not be there just to make up the numbers. They'll be riding for pride - and with 2015 contracts in mind.

With the Grand Final scheduled for next Saturday, this may be the last of the wonderful Friday nights of high speed action at Armadale this season, so make sure you're there to cheer on the magnificent seven Monarchs as they try to win the Knockout Cup for the first time since 1999. Tapes up at 7.30 sharp.

Likely line-ups:

EDINBURGH SCOTWASTE MONARCHS: Craig Cook, Justin Sedgmen, Max Fricke, Stevie Worrall, Sam Masters, Aaron Fox, Derek Sneddon (captain)

IPSWICH WITCHES: Rohan Tungate, Cameron Heeps, Morten Risager, Gino Manzares, Richie Worrall, Ritchie Hawkins (captain), Adam Ellis.
