  Edinburgh Monarchs

After fifteen years of waiting the Scotwaste Monarchs are on the brink of lifting the Premier League Knock Out Cup.

A magnificent performance from the Scotwaste Monarchs last night at Ipswich means that the team will go to the tapes tonight with a sixteen point advantage. Therefore any win or even a defeatof less than sixteen points would see the Monarchs lift the trophy.

Stevie Worrall will again be missing from the Monarchs line up as he awaits the birth of his first child. Another absentee from the Monarchs line up this evening will be Derek Sneddon. He fell in his third race last night and suffered a hip injury. He is still very uncomfortable with that injury and is not fit to ride. His place will be taken by Workington's Joe Jacobs.

Although there is no confirmation it is likely that the Witches will be without Gino Manzares who withdrew from the meeting at Ipswich last night with a shoulder injury.

We will be uplifting our annual Speedway Benevolent fund collection tonight and this will take place at the admission gates tonight as supporters enter the stadium.
