The Border Roofing Monarchs won their fifth successive Premier League match at Armadale tonight, beating Workington 56-36, consolidating their third place with matches in hand over Sheffield and Peterborough above them.

A patched-up Workington team came to Armadale and were out of contention by the half way stage of this match.

The Border Roofing Monarchs easily defeated Workington Comets at Armadale on Friday night by 56 to 36. Kevin Wolbert top scored for the Monarchs with 12 and Ricky Wells got 12 for the Comets.

Armadale has been quite lucky on Friday in avoiding many of the heavy showers that have been falling throughout Central Scotland. With all weather forecasts suggesting that all showers will die out by late afternoon we anticipate our match with Workington going ahead as scheduled.
