We are very pleased to bring you news of a prestigious award won by our photographer, Ron MacNeill. At the Scottish Press Photography Awards ceremony held in Glasgow last night Ron won the best Sports Action award for a photograph taken at Armadale.

Top Two Ready To Dance
The postponement of the Championship Riders Individual at Glasgow has created an unfortunate clash of events for our top two, Ricky Wells and Sam Masters, with the Glasgow restaging taking place on 14th October, the night of our End of Season Dinner and Dance. The good news for those attending Glasgow is that our two will be there and the good news for supporters attending the dance, our top two will be there also.

Witches Make The Final
The Parsons Peebles Monarchs failed narrowly to overturn Ipswich’s 10-point lead from the first leg of the Championship Playoff semi-final, beating Ipswich 48-41 on the night but going down 88-91 on aggregate. The Witches will meet either Sheffield or Glasgow in the Final and we wish them well.

Pipped At The Post
Rory Schlein won heat 15 to knock the Parsons Peebles Monarchs out of the Play-offs. The Monarchs won 48 to 41 on the night but lost 91 to 88 on aggregate. Well done to the Witches.
