We are sorry to tell supporters that long time Monarchs announcer Douglas Griffin passed away at the weekend at the age of 82. He was our announcer for a total of over 20 seasons and supported the Monarchs for virtually all of his life, having attended during the first season in 1948.

Coming up on Sunday 2nd March from midday, Monarchs 100 support group are set to host an auction to raise funds for the renewal of the air fence and are welcoming donations of items to be auctioned.

A new air safety fence will be installed at Armadale Stadium ahead of the 2025 season with Stellar Monarchs Co-Promoter John Campbell sharing details of the project including fundraising efforts.
