  Edinburgh Monarchs

Monarchs hit sixty for the first time this season with an efficient demolition of Berwick.

Although there were some threatening clouds it was a pleasant evening, and as long as you turned up tonight not expecting a thriller, the standard of entertainment probably met most people's expectations.

Stanislaw Burza made some good starts and finished the match with a fine win in heat 15, in which both Henrik Moller and Rusty Harrison lost their maximums.

That left Matthew Wethers and Theo Pijper unbeaten, with Matt taking a full 15 point maximum for the first time.

Monarchs gave a couple of rides to Andrew Tully who scored a good point from the back in his second ride.

Derek Sneddon blew a motor and even more unluckily, Craig Branney injured his foot in a heat 2 crash. We hope his injury is not serious.
