Once again, Monarchs started strongly at Mildenhall - level after 7 heats - but in spite of 7-2 in heat 11, the Fen Tigers pulled away for a 52-41 win.

The event was marred by a delay of around 100 minutes before the medical staff reached the strength required by the referee.

Theo Pijper and Derek Sneddon returned double figure scores for the Monarchs
