RESERVES STAR IN SUCCESSFUL WEEKEND

Andrew Tully and Aaron Summers rode superbly in the team's excellent displays over the weekend, as they went close at Rye House and took a 30-point away win at Mildenhall.

Tully won his first four heats at Mildenhall as Monarchs took a firm grip on the match and eventually equalled their largest ever winning margin away from home.

Everyone scored at least 7 and apart from a slight wobble in heats 3 and 4 there was never a doubt that a big win was on the way.

The previous night they had led at Rye House until heat 9, before the match slipped away. Monarchs knew that had let a chance slip at Hoddesdon but they still earned much praise from the locals.

The team now sit handily in third spot in the table as we look forward to Diamond Jubilee weekend.
