Derek Sneddon, Kevin Wolbert, Aaron Summers and Mark Lemon were all added tonight to the lineup for opening night at Armadale on 23rd March.

Alongside Oliver Allen, Theo Pijper and Richard Lawson that makes 7 names so far with the next announcement expected on Tuesday.

Derek Sneddon of course is returning to the Monarchs’ ranks this season after three good years with Newcastle, while top Monarch of 2011 Kevin Wolbert will be with King’s Lynn this season.

To improve his chances in the Harrison Open, the German star has asked to attend the practise on March 16th At Armadale.

Aaron Summers was a Monarch for three years but is now at Redcar. He still has many fans at Armadale, as does the experienced Aussie Mark Lemon who was a regular guest for Monarchs in their championship year of 2008. Mark, now 39, still sports an average of over 9 and is top man at Newcastle.

The video night was again well attended with Micky Dyer amazingly staying awake for the whole event in spite of just having arrived from Australia. Craig Cook had driven up from Workington for the night, and both Theo Pijper (getting fitter) and Matthew Wethers were there. All the riders got a great welcome.
