DOOLAN NEXT FOR STORMY

Popular Ipswich Aussie Kevin Doolan is the next name to be added to the field for the Stormy Wethers Testimonial on Friday August 17th.

Kevin is the first to admit his season has been full of ups and downs so far, but he rarely has a bad meeting at Armadale and he was a finalist in the Scottish Open which started the Edinburgh season.

Kevin says “I’ve known Matthew for a long time, he lived in Adelaide and I saw him grow up in the junior ranks.

“He was a good kid, always wanting to learn and listen. I know his family well too. He’s a good professional rider.”

Kevin joins Rory Schlein, James Grieves, Joe Screen, Magnus Karlsson and Lee Complin previously named for the meeting.

The Cycle Speedway event scheduled for this Saturday has been postponed until 18th August, for several reasons, including the fact that Glasgow will be able to take part on the new date.
