With 7 days to go until our rescheduled season opener, work resumed at Armadale this morning to get the track ready for action.

Alan Bridgett had begun clearing snow from the track, however another heavy snow shower shortly after left everything white once again. Eventually the weather cleared up, allowing Alan to clear the surface entirely. Needless to say, the early call-off was the correct decision, as the overnight frost from last night wrecked the track surface.

Glasgow's early call off was also due to frost breaking up the track surface. They had hoped the sunnier weather would give them a chance but there was no improvement as the week progressed.

Berwick are confident that they will have no problem getting their meeting on at 7.00pm on Saturday night.

Meanwhile, Claus Vissing visited Armadale for the second time today. Both his visits haven't involved racing, but he is one of the few riders who has seen all the changes to the stadium we've made over the winter and he was very impressed. He also surveyed the centre green for the place to pitch his tent, and he's found a prime spot.

Craig Cook was in action on Friday scoring 4 for Belle vue as they lost at home to Wolverhampton by 47 to 43.
