The Scotwaste Monarchs riders are still busy outside their commitments for Edinburgh.

Stevie Worrall was in action on Wednesday evening at King's Lynn for his Elite League team, Swindon. After opening up a lead of eight points the Robins lost their way and allowed the Stars back into the match to steal a win by 48 to 42.

Stevie had five rides and scored paid six from his first three races before a last place in his fourth ride and an engine failure in his fifth.

On Thursday two more Scotwaste Monarchs are in action. Max Fricke guests for King's Lynn at Birmingham. In rather strange circumstances at Sheffield Sam Masters is guesting for Scunthorpe. Scunthorpe introduced Nicolai Klindt to their team last week but as he has not ridden for them and is unavailable on Thursday due to the Danish Final the Scorpions revert to their previous declaration and that means they need a guest for the injured Anders Mellgren. Sam's the man!

Advance ticket sales for Friday night are going very well and we've had our biggest ever single sale with 18 tickets being purchased in one batch. Interest in the event is very high and VIP hospitality is sold out for the first time this season.

All children will receive a Record Breaking Monarchs poster as they enter the stadium.
