COOKIE FIRST IN ACTION

It looks like Craig Cook will be the first Monarch in action in the new season when he lines up in the Ben Fund Bonanza at Swindon just three weeks today.

The meeting will feature a four team tournament with teams from England, Australia, Denmark and Poland. Craig, of course, will line up for England and will have Berwick's top man Ben Barker and Glasgow's new number one, Richard Lawson as teammates.

Australia will have Rory Schlein in their team. Denmark will feature Berwick's Thomas Jorgensen with new Leicester's new signing Szymon Wozniak in the Poland team.

The Ben Fund meeting has become a very major event within each season and will start at 4.00pm on Sunday 8th March, raising vital funds for the Speedway Riders' Benevolent Fund.
