The clock is well and truly ticking towards the start of the new season with just over seven days until the Theo Pijper Testimonial meeting and just over a fortnight until the Border Roofing Monarchs take to the track at the new look Ashfield Stadium in Glasgow.

It's pay at the gate for Theo's Testimonial but advance tickets are on sale now for the Border Roofing Monarchs matches into May. Tickets purchased online offer a substantial discount if purchased up to 11.59pm on the day of the meeting.

Season tickets have been selling well and with recent sales we believe that we will exceed last year's total by the time we get underway for this season. Season tickets are not valid for Theo's meeting but will be for the opening Spring Trophy match against Glasgow on Good Friday.

All season tickets holders, except those who have purchased in the last week, should have received a letter confirming arrangements for the new season. Anyone who has not received this letter should get in touch as soon as possible.

Equally anyone who has purchased a season ticket for coach travel from Edinburgh every week should have received their ticket by now.

Both admission season tickets and coach season passes remain available for purchase.

Work at the track will continue on Friday and Saturday from 9.30am to get everything ready for the opener next week. Anyone who can spend even an hour or two helping will be made most welcome on either or both days.
