The first rain-off

Tonight's match against Glasgow was called off early following heavy rain. We don't have a restaging date at the moment and obviously it's not an easy one with two Friday teams involved.

Asked how we came to the decision more quickly than we sometimes do, Alex Harkess said "Because none of the riders wanted to race. Both teams agreed. And when you walked on it, you could understand."

It's a blow to our season obviously, but there is still speedway in the area this weekend with the British Under-21 Final at Berwick tomorrow (7pm) and Monarchs' visit to Glasgow on Sunday (5pm).

Berwick Bandits are the visitors to Armadale next Friday.
