Josh Pickering joined John and Liam for a scrumptious Sunday Lunch question and answer session live from Australia last weekend where he revealed his early days in motorcycle racing.

Josh started off explaining how life currently is for him and new wife Brooke, "Life is as good as good can be. Self-isolation has stopped me from doing things like hanging out with mates but from a normal life point of view I've been going to work full time which is good."

Liam asked how Josh's fitness regime is holding up during the lockdown, he explained, "I work some big hours now, and I'm averaging probably 6 miles a day just walking at work then I'll come home and do a 4 mile run just to get out and enjoy the weather while we still can."

John moved on and asked how Josh got into speedway, "I started off riding dirt bikes with my cousin, who was actually the first to get into racing. He had a race bike but mine was more of a farm bike.

"My Dad was more into football, cricket and golf so it came as a shock when I told him I wanted to race. He'd never even ridden a motorcycle before!

"So we went to our local mini bike club each Sunday and started having a ride around and picked it up quite quick. I progressed slowly through upgrading the bike then the next thing I know it's seven years later."

Josh then went into fantastic detail on his progress through national competitions before picking up the track record in Adelaide in his fairly early days!
