Although the 2020 British Speedway season remains on hold, the coronavirus situation has shown early signs of improvement in recent weeks and the Club is looking to understand the current mood amongst the What The Fork Monarchs support.
Starting today, the Club has launched a short survey including questions on how the coronavirus situation has affected you, those closest to you, and your interest in attending live sport.
However, the Club would like to reassure fans that speedway will not return until it is safe to do so and until supporters feel comfortable to attend.
Should any speedway season be possible in 2020, changes will almost certainly be required to the operation at Armadale Stadium to accommodate social distancing. Such changes could only be viable if supporters felt able to attend.
It is important not to rush to any conclusions but instead for the Club to make the best decision based on all of the available information, with the safety of all being the most important factor. This regular survey will contribute a vital part of this information going forward.
As opinion will almost certainly evolve as the country begins to adapt to the 'new normal', the survey will be re-run each month until speedway restarts in the UK or the season is abandoned. The Club would be extremely grateful if you could take the time to complete the short survey each time it is opened.
The first run of the survey will remain open until 9pm on Tuesday 19th May.
