The first stage of the new Monarchs Speedway Academy is underway following the official opening of the mini-track at Armadale Stadium last Saturday.

Colin Frame, Managing Director of Devils title partner Stellar, cut the ribbon on the mini-track to officially open what will be an integral part of the Monarchs Speedway Academy.

The first Academy session has now been scheduled for this coming Saturday 26th June and is open to youngsters who currently own their own small size bike (50cc or similar) and have their own safety equipment.

Any interested riders or their parents/guardians are encouraged to email academy@edinburghmonarchs.co.uk with their name, contact information and a brief description of the motorcycle that they intend to use.

Anyone looking to attend Saturday's session must make contact with the Academy first.
