The Stellar Monarchs have still to commence their home programme in their Championship Playoff group due to last week's postponements but they try again to host Scunthorpe on Saturday evening at 7pm.

It is bound to be an important match for all three teams in the section. Monarchs need to get themselves off the mark with a win (even if the aggregate bonus would seem a long shot after 31-59 defeat at Scunthorpe). Poole and Scunthorpe had a great scrap at Poole with Scunthorpe taking a point, and if the Scorpions manage to win at home to Poole on Friday then they will be section favourites but will still want to make sure by winning at Armadale!

Justin Sedgmen is once again the guest replacement for Craig Cook on the home side, and we saw both sides of Sedgy on his Armadale appearance two Fridays ago. Ryan Douglas is the standout star for the Scorpions but they have a very solid side including former Monarch Drew Kemp at reserve.

Monarchs' captain Josh Pickering says "We all know what we have to do to try and get to that pointy end of the field at the right time. We can only hope all the bad luck is behind us and we can all keep picking up points and we will see where that takes us."

Saturday's match will be Live Streamed by British Speedway Network for those who cannot attend.

A coach will depart Waterloo Place at 5.45pm.
