There were no league points to be had for the Stellar Monarchs from our match at Poole this evening. We lost by a fairly hefty 59-31 but in the course of a rather drawn-out meeting we managed to play our part in some entertaining racing.

The Stellar Monarchs were well beaten at home tonight by the very strong Oxford side who took the lead in heat 2 and never looked like relinquishing it. They ran out winners by 52-37 and that was with the Monarchs' score boosted by a heat 15 5-1, once the destination of the points was well and truly decided.

Drew Kemp steps in for Paco Castagna who is racing in the Grand Prix Challenge in Sweden this weekend and Craig Cook hasn't recovered from aggravating a back injury last week at Redcar so Richie Worrall steps in.
