Rusty Harrison has declared himself fit and will ride against Stoke at Loomer Road on Saturday night.

Speaking from his Workington home on Saturday morning Rusty said, "I'm feeling much better this morning. The sore head, fever and general unwell feeling have gone.

"I've still got a runny nose but that won't stop me. Loomer Road is one of my favourite tracks and I want to do my bit to help the team to a good result."

Team boss Alan Bridgett added, "Rusty is a great performer at Stoke. We'll be that bit stronger with him in the team."

Stoke will include Alan Mogridge in their side. He was expected to contest a British Championship qualifier at Rye House tonight but he has withdrawn from that to ride for the Potters.
