After a great display at Ashfield, Derek Sneddon is looking to find his best form again at Armadale this Friday.

He said ?Last Friday I was really struggling to make starts. I was hoping Kevin Little would be there to keep me right with my new engine, but he couldn't make it because of the ?flu. So I was pretty much testing it by myself, and I couldn't really get it to work.

?But I changed a couple of things and it worked on Sunday, it was getting out the starts. I was very happy to get a few points on the board.

?I was passed by Shane Parker. I got a bit of stick for that when I came back into the pits ? Parker was very clever, he made me think he was going to try on the inside and I tried to cover, but he went right round the boards.

?Kenny McKinna told me ? stick to the outside line and do not move off it. I think Stancl tried to make me think he was coming up the inside but I was ready for it that time and managed to win that one.

?I'm not 100% up and running yet but I think I'll be there after we've had another weekend of racing. We are at Berwick on Saturday and that won't be easy, but we just need to go open minded and see how we go.

?Our track was fine on Friday, personally I'd like a wee bit more grip at the starts but that's for the boys to discuss. It was more my bike setups I was struggling with.

?My reserve partner Andrew Tully got a good second in one heat at Glasgow, and even in the heats he didn't score he was on the pace. He's definitely a trier.

?It's still very early days and I think the team will come together. Ronnie has a good head on his shoulders and he can see things that others can't.

?His first ride at Ashfield was fantastic and he was very unlucky the rest of the day. I think he'll be an inspiration to us all.?
